Most of her film credits came during the 1950s when she co-starred with James Cagney in the comedy, What Price Glory, and Sailor Beware with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.

Other movies included So This Is Paris, opposite Tony Curtis, and On the Riviera with Danny Kaye. Miss Calvet, born Corinne Dibos, was discovered by Paramount Studios, which brought her to the United States. Her first American film was Rope of Sand, starring Burt Lancaster. Miss Calvet once filed a million-dollar slander lawsuit against Zsa Zsa Gabor, alleging that Gabor had told several people, including a prominent Hollywood columnist, that she wasn't French. Miss Calvet maintained she was born in Paris and "truly possesses the attributes portrayed by her in her various roles." James Parker, 77: Curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York for nearly 50 years who was perhaps best known for his creation of the Wrightsman rooms of 18th century French furniture; of cancer June 20 at his home in Manhattan.

When Mr. Parker joined the Met in 1951 as an assistant in the department of European sculpture and decorative arts, he broke a long family tradition. Mr. Downey a retired employee of the Standard Register Co. with 25 years of service and had worked at the Dayton International Airport for many rental car agencies. He was a WWII Army Veteran and was a member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church, Vandalia Lodge 742 A.M., Antioch Temple and the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. HARPER, Kate J. (Officer) Age 88, former resident of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, June 29, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan two sons, Guy Harper and Donald Harper; two sisters; and three brothers. He was a musician and formed the Benny Anthony Band. He was a member of the Engineers Club and was president of both the Dayton and Ohio Home Builders Association. He was a lifetime director in the National Home Builders Association. Tony was a member of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors. He was instrumental in the development of Oak Creek and was a prominent builder in the Dayton Kettering area.
